The Honda fifty h.p. tiller handled outboard on my Classic Mark II was always a bit tough to handle. I Installed the mini console with Honda controls mounted on the side, while tachometer, tilt and volt gauges mounted in the face of the console. Sterling is so much easier and safer. My wife even likes to drive it now! I mounted the console about four inches higher on the bench seat for extra knee room. The space in and under the console handles all of the excess electric wires for the gauges and controls. There is also room for a water proof Otter Box which is mounted to the seat inside the console for cell phone, car keys etc. Finally a GPS unit is mounted to the side under the controls on an articulated mount to complete the use of this console. I love the change and will never go back to a tiller handle!
Not that bad
